This album is made by year 7-8 children (11-13 yrs old) from Thorndon school, Wellington New Zealand. Each child has followed a songwriting process to develop, record, edit and rework their ideas using Garageband. The children involved were allowed to uses garageband beats and percussion loops in their songs but everything else had to be played by themselves or other talented kids from the school. All songs are part of our school's songwriting competition which acts as a valuable schoolwide learning experience and culminates in a music assembly with awards and performances to celebrate musical performance and creation within our school. We hope you enjoy! Any feedback to the children is most appreciated.
